SVH Helen Keller DeafBlind Awareness Day 2024

SVH Helen Keller DeafBlind Awareness Day 2024 Society for the Visually Handicapped jointly with Sanskrit Sahitya Parishad, Kolkata, will be observing Helen Keller DeafBlind Awareness Day 2024 at Sanskrit Sahitya Parishad Sabhaghar on 01 July 2024 1-3 PM. Program 1. Sujan Bose, Vision Impaired digital audiobook advisor of SVH will speak on how to access audio material in the internet through touch and hearing; 2. Dr Mrs Ruma Chatterjee, Founder-Secretary, Kolkata Society for the Empowerment of the Differently Abled, wil speak on the services for the DeafBlind persons implemented by her Society. 3. Mrs Chandra Mukhopadhyay, teacher and research scholar on music created by working class women in remote areas of Bengal will speak on her work and publications.
