Alokjatra hosted by International Eye Bank, Kolkata on 19 January 2020 at Sodepur Sukhchar, WB, India for cornea pledging

International Eye Bank, Kolkata jointly with Alor Dishari, Sodepur, Sukhchar hosted its annual "Alokjatra" in Sodepur Sukhchar on 19 January 2020. Purpose is to create an awareness about cornea pledging and remove superstitions relating to eye donation. On behalf of Society for the Visually Handicapped, Kolkata, an old associate of International Eye Bank, Kolkata, Ms Hena Basu, Secretary and Mrs Shipra Maitra, a retired employee of the Zoological Survey of India and an adult Blind person participated in the program.
